(June 17, 2025, Yongchun, Fujian) Fujian Yangzhu New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a global leader in providing "bamboo-to-plastic" technology solutions, welcomed a high-level delegation of seven members led by Dato' Wira Lim Wan Fong, Chief Minister’s Investment and China Affairs Advisor & Special Envoy for China Relations from Malaysia’s Melaka state. Accompanying the delegation was Zhuang Kairong, Deputy County Magistrate of Yongchun County, who joined the visit. This prestigious trip focused on Yangzhu Technology’s comprehensive, fully biodegradable bamboo-fiber material production chain project, aiming to deeply explore the potential for Sino-Malaysian green technology collaboration and jointly drive sustainable development across the region.

The delegation toured Yangzhu Technology’s bamboo fiber raw-material processing workshop, fully automated smart production line, and core R&D center, gaining a firsthand look at the advanced, end-to-end process—from the meticulous pre-treatment of selected bamboo materials to their efficient transformation into biodegradable finished products. The company’s technical leader highlighted the organization’s groundbreaking innovation in "replacing traditional plastics with bamboo-based materials," while also providing an in-depth overview of its global market strategy for cutting-edge products such as bamboo fiber film bags and eco-friendly packaging solutions.

Dato' Wira Lim Wan Feng highly praised Yangzhu Technology for achieving the high-value, full-scale utilization of bamboo resources through independent innovation, calling it a "regional model for the circular economy." He noted that Melaka State, as a key logistics hub and popular tourist destination in Southeast Asia, is actively pursuing its "Zero Plastic City" initiative—aligning perfectly with Yangzhu Technology's core technologies and the practical applications of its products. "We look forward to collaborating closely through policy alignment and deep supply-chain integration, enabling Yangzhu Technology’s cutting-edge biodegradable bamboo fiber products to first be introduced into Melaka’s consumer markets and tourism industry," he added.
Yongchun County Vice County Mayor Zhuang Kairong stated during the exchange that Yongchun County will continue to optimize the bamboo industry ecosystem and fully support leading enterprises like Fujian Yangzhu in establishing cross-border platforms for technology transfer and market expansion, further deepening green industry cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
